            316 Western Ave, Petaluma

When:  Wednesdays, June 10th, June 17th, July 8th, July 15th, and August 12th.

           9 a.m.-noon

Spend the morning together with other girls, gathering inspiration from female
artists that have made an impact on the world. Students will create a unique art
project based on the artist’s style of making, but looking inward and reflecting their
own identity into art making. "Girls Club" will take place at the Tea Room Cafe, which is closed for business on Wednesdays, leaving us with a beautiful light filled work space.

June 10th; Mirka Mora, Australian Artist

June 17th; Huly Ozdemir, Turkish Artist

July 8th; Frida Kahlo, Mexican Artist

Girls will not only learn about female artist from around the globe, they will also
build relationships with each other as well as strengthen their own vision of self and
artistic voice. We will explore a variety of art techniques, included painting, collage,
and weaving.

Sign up for the entire series of Summer Girls Club or just one class. Ideally, girls
would join for the series as to build a network together and feel like a community of
female artists, creating in a safe and loving environment!
